Biography

I love working with students and helping them reach their goals. Here at Kodiak College, I teach writing and English courses, Chair the College Preparatory & Developmental Studies program, and Coordinate The Learning Center. Over the years, I’ve taught and tutored in colleges and universities in Louisiana, Wyoming, Morocco, Maryland, and now Alaska. I grew up in Sitka and Palmer and am excited to be back living and working in my home state. My family and I love the outdoors – what better place is there to get close to nature than Kodiak?
