OEC Marine Services Technology

This course prepares students for technical-level work in the marine industry. Graduating students will be able to perform a variety of troubleshooting, installation, services, and repairs to marine systems. Sessions are a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on skill building and training.

The average wage of a marine service technician is about $25.50 per hour.

Alaska's maritime sector represents Alaska's largest employer and it is a significant economic force in the state.
